10.03.2026|08:56 Uhr

The Creative Decisions Foundation (CDF) (www.creativedecisions.net), established by Thomas L. Saaty and Rozann W. Saaty in 1996, is a non-profit research organization that aims to spread awareness of The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Analytic Network Process (ANP) by sponsoring education, research, and software development in advanced methods of decision making. For the MCDM 2026 Conference, the CDF is pleased to offer a limited number of grants for students and Ph.D. candidates working with AHP/ANP. These grants are designed to support emerging scholars by covering their full conference registration fees.

Application Process

  1. Abstract Submission: Applicants must first submit an abstract related to AHP/ANP via the official conference submission page (https://mcdm2026.uni-wuppertal.de/en/submission/) by March 15, 2026.
  2. Manuscript Submission: Upon receiving an acceptance notification from the conference organizers, applicants must prepare a 6–10 page manuscript based on their abstract. This manuscript, along with the conference acceptance letter and a brief CV (detailing education, accomplishments, research topics, and familiarity with AHP/ANP), should be emailed to Prof. İlker Topcu (ilker.topcu[at]itu.edu.tr) by March 22, 2026. Please use the subject line: “CDF Grant Application” for easy reference.
  3. Selection & Confirmation: The CDF Board will review submissions and notify recipients by March 25, 2026. Grantees must confirm their attendance via email to Prof. Topcu by March 30, 2026.
  4. Registration: If you are among the grant recipients, your conference registration will be submitted by CDF, which will transfer the registration fees for the grantees directly to the conference. You will be contacted to provide all relevant information.

Publication Opportunity

Grant recipients are invited to submit their manuscripts for publication in the International Journal of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (IJAHP). The IJAHP is a Scopus-indexed journal, providing a valuable platform for young researchers. All submissions will undergo the standard double-blind peer-review process.

We wish all applicants the best of luck!
